We offer Ultherapy® as a part of our non-surgical facelift at Perfect Eyes Ltd. Ultherapy® uses ultrasound to tighten and lift the skin on the neck, chin, and brow. We also offer Silhouette Soft® which improves facial contours and skin laxity.
Dr Shah-Desai will discuss your suitability for these treatments in your consultation.
Ultherapy® is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the chest, without surgery or downtime.
With advocates such as Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow , this non-surgical procedure promises to kick-start the skin’s failing collagen and put it on high speed rewind, reversing nearly a years’ worth of ageing per month over the following six months.
Ideal candidates are those who are in good physical condition, with mild to moderate soft tissues and skin laxity, looking for subtle gradual improvement with brow or cheek, jowls or neck sagging, or those wishing to delay signs of ageing (generally aged between 40-60 years). Traditional full face lift is better for more advanced ageing with platysmal banding and severe skin laxity.

This non-invasive facelift procedure can be performed in under 2 hours. Patients usually remain fully conscious during the procedure, which unlike lasers, radio frequency, surgery and other technologies, bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver the right amount of ultrasound energy at the right depths and the right temperature, stimulating collagen growth in the skin tissue at three different layers. The energy triggers a natural response under the skin, jumpstarting the regenerative process that produces fresh, new collagen.
Some patients see an initial effect right after their treatment, but the real results appear over 3-6 months as new collagen works to lift and tighten skin on the neck, chin and brow as well as smooth skin on the chest. While Ultherapy won’t duplicate the results of a facelift, it’s a clinically proven non-invasive alternative for those not ready for surgery—and can even be an option for patients who wish to extend the effects of cosmetic surgery.
What are the potential risks of Ultherapy?
Temporary redness, swelling and tenderness over the treated area.
Bruising is rare, but can very occasionally happen.
Five patients have developed blistering, erosion/ulceration, cutaneous, or subcutaneous tissue edema with resulting atrophy, and/or cutaneous necrosis following single sessions of MFUS.
